At Spaceforme we are proud to be playing a part in improving classroom spaces worldwide, and Furze Platt Senior School in Berkshire is no different. Working with the team over at Morleys we succeeded in creating a modern and vibrant environment in their new teaching block.
This project was completed back in 2019 so we checked in with Morley's to gather feedback from themselves and the school about this project. Read below to see what they thought.
What were the primary needs and goals when undertaking this project?
The school wanted to completely revamp their spaces with new learning environments with fresh furniture.
How did Spaceforme products align with these needs and goals?
The client really loved the colour palette on the chairs and how robust they were.
Every piece of furniture chosen incorporated the school’s colour palette of blue and grey and provided both an aesthetic and functional solution for the teaching spaces. The spaces are modern and bright, embracing the ethos and identity of the school, whilst accommodating the individuality of the students.
What were the main challenges the school faced regarding furniture?
Cost and durability
Were there any specific features of Spaceforme products that influenced your decision?
The client received various samples, but once they received the Spaceforme chair they were sold on it.
Can you share any feedback from the end user regarding their furniture?
The school would purchase more and have continued to buy top-up orders. They are happy with the quality of the chairs, saying "The end results are high-quality furniture which reflects our school brand and looks stunning."
What impact has this project had on the atmosphere at the school?
The client is super pleased with their new space and it has inspired the children.
